I completely agree with this one. Need to be able to play notes from my keyboard while the track is muted. Did this a whole lot with the original Hermod.
+1 for the the above - playing via midi while track is muted to improvise over the rest of the tracks.
1+ for bringing back the midi output Effect!
New here and new to Hermod+ but I’d like to toss out the idea to implement a harmonizer effect like the Oxi One has implemented.
It allows you to take a polyphonic or mono track and harmonize the next track with it to create interesting melodies that work together instantly. Unless I’m misunderstanding the harmonize effect that’s in there now, I don’t think this is what it does.
It’s a real shame.
Yes, being able to somehow cross reference tracks would be a very cool thing! especially now with the 16 available channels…
indeed, the features exists on Hapax, it’s called Match Chord or something like that. Would be huge if they added it to hermod+!
I am seriously considering moving to the Hermod+ from my Social Entropy Engine if the ability to send program change messages over midi is implemented (request #22) and as an additional request, the ability to offset the timing of the message per pattern or track would be great for live use. Another one would be the button combination (like in elektrons) to mute or unmute a pattern or track in the beginning of the next cycle.
I would like to see an output scope option per track that shows the actual CV out values on a track AFTER the effects are applied to the track. For Example: if you have a Mod track and an LFO effect on that track I want to see what is being output from the Mod CV output.
What I would like to see most is “internal CC modulation routing” - The ability to send a CC from one of the midi tracks into the mod matrix of another track.
If not that - then some form of “step effect parameter change”.
I know you can do this with the CV inputs or with a USB ‘loopback’ cable, but that uses up ports.
(Updated to show what has been implemented)
- Custom scales
Use the pads as a note keyboard- Add CV control of track mutes & effect mutes into Modmatrix
- Different playback speeds per track
- Ability to have one track ‘listen’ to another for further processing
- More cv inputs via expander
Tweak Delay effect so there’s more control like there is with the pitch options in the effect (eg velocity fade up or down, gate length fade up or down)
@KidYoshi I agree with most of those need to be added, though I don’t need the expander, the rest are spot on.
Agree on all accounts +1
Option to add glide per note plzzzzz
also: 1+ for bringing back the midi output Effect! : )
I would like an option to control Track Len via a CV Input
I love the pick up idea! I really like to go for more musical stuff in the modular
I didn’t have the original Hermod, so I’m pretty shocked that the effects don’t have an internal CHANCE parameter. Ratchets are much cooler when they’re not ratcheting all the time. Same goes for Glide, same goes for Delay…
I’m also confused that you really need a cable in order to route modulation internally, when the mod matrix exists. I’d love to set the destination of something to Parameter 1 and then just tap into it from another track without using a cable to A/B
I’d also love for polyphonic tracks to be able to still use the Polyphonic Allocators, but utilize a SINGLE TRIGGER. I haven’t yet found out to satisfyingly control a modules, which takes 3 v/oct and outputs it to one or two channels. Either I can do the full poly and just use the first track’s gate or if I use any of the allocator, the third allocation (if used in stereo) would be silent.
I would like to see an option to send out pc messages to change synth presets
Mute tracks on release.
Hold a knob (X) then select tracks you intend to toggle mute. On release knob (X) tracks will toggle mute state.
This would be a very welcome feature during a performance when you want to toggle mute states of more tracks than you have fingers available.
