Your Hapax studio setups, including pics!

Wing rocks

I’m already loving it, the workflow is well thought. I’m paring it witha an Antelope Audio Galaxy 32 through Dante (instruments are conected into the Galaxy’s analg I/O and passed through Dante to the Wing and returned back throught Dante to the Galaxy to reach the monitors/sub through the Galaxy’s Sorround processing) and its rock solid!

Here’s what my Hapax studio setup looks like.
I kept adding little things over time… and somehow it ended up like this

Part of me is like “I should probably clean this up a bit,”
but honestly, having everything within arm’s reach just feels right.

Sorry it’s a bit of a chaotic mess with all the gear and cables… but this is the layout that works best for me.

If you’re curious about any of the gear, feel free to ask!

The equipment in the center-left? It’s a Kawai k1m.

I can not believe how good this mixer is… everything is possible and everything is really easy.

I’ve watched this a few times

Super funny :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

One of the best setups for not being distracted by to much gear

The hapax use as a DAW sequencer is not promoted enough imo bcz it works very well

I have a limited setup Hapax - Tonverk -TR1000 - PC

There is nothing i cant do with this setup

I will soon run my small setup through a mixer for real time arrangement EQ and FX sends. The mixer will sit front and centre like yours is. Mixers can work as a real musical instrument and arranger when used in a particular way. The problem is manufacturers still dont get this. There are a couple performance mixers for the synth crowd but they are expensive and short on channels. It is a good sign though. Hopefully companies like Mackie Allen and Heath start paying attention to synth users.

My work-in-progress live rig.

It’s essentially feature complete at this point. The next step is to make it road worthy. This means integrating everything (devices, power and usb/midi/clock/audio interlinking connections) into a few flight cases with dedicated multipin connectors between each. This will reduce setup and take-down time to a minimum as well as maximise reliability.

New to the Squarp community. I’ve had a Hermod+ for about 6 months and just got a Hapax. I’m absolutely in love with both. So powerful and for me, so intuitive. Here’s a few pics from studio.
