I’ve noticed this when using either the hermod or a korg sq1 sequencer. When the note changes, sometimes it seems to trigger a note in between the last not that was played and a new note. Eventually, it will settle on the correct note if you keep playing it.
For example, if I play a note an octave up, then do that same note an octave down, sometimes it takes multiple gates of the note for the pitch to fall all the way to the correct note.
