Does this seem too good to be true for a good condition unit?
I was offered by a reddit user , but he or she doesn’t want to use e bay or …just PayPal F&F.
Im keen , seen pics but seems at bit too good to be right ???
i thought they would sell for more 2nd hand ?

I wouldn’t send paypal F&F to a stranger on reddit. There is no recourse if they walk with your money. Not worth the risk.

Three people contacted me with photos , i searched the photos -
1 set were from an old reverb post in chicago - but this user said they were in the uK.
i said why not put it on e bay - it’s free and i’ll pay protection cost , but they wouldn’t
2nd i asked if they could send a pic with one of those notes in front of ir with today’s date and their username - again i searched the photo and it was from user post on this group , and they prob layed a post it note on it using AI or photoshop.
3rd person seem genuine - photos this that the other but won’t send a paypal goods / service invoice or use ebay etc only F&F - they even said pay half now and rest on delivery , but i don’t trust it and such a bargain price less than half of retail – ERRM
just not worth the risk i think - im sure these are worth more 2nd hand than 600 euro or even 700 euro
buy it new. squarp deserves it. put it on credit and eat ramen for a month or 2. make sure you have enough cables tho! its really an amazing bit, worth paying some interest just to have it.

If i remember right ? There was a lot of limitation. I think only so many melodic tracks were available from 16 etc ..+ others bits.
Not sure , but people were complaining about it a lot. Anyway that doesn’t seem to be an issue anymore
nope. there are things i wish for but all in all its the best sequencer ive used
No you’re free to use any of the 16 tracks as drum or piano roll.
There is some defaults in my point of view but they could be changing and they’re really small compared to other sequencers I used
But you just shouldn’t buy ANYTHING out of a secured webstore. There is no reason for the seller to refuse. Try to offer to pay the extra he’s loosing by selling on Ebay and if refused it is definitely a scam.
I paid mine 900eur in France, and the seller totally refused any lower price. Now the cheapest ones are above 1000

i sold a deluge by listing available on reddit , i listed the item on ebay for the sale and buyer protection side 
better for both parties

just a note on my experience so far.
i want to buy a squarp instruments Hapax - A number of users PM me with offers , they all sent pictures +.
i download the pictures and searched them via google lens, only to find the same pics on old reverb posts USA (im uk and they said they were UK based) or from forums etc.
i asked if they could add a post it note or other with a date / username , which all did but this was generated via AI editing or photoshop.
None of the users would list on ebay even if i offered to pay extra, and it’s free to list on ebay - all wanted friends / family payment via paypal or bank transfer s.
None would even send a paypal invoice for goods / service - even tho i said i would pay the fees.
just best to check and be careful I didn’t buy or fall for it thankfully

I got my very cheap from reverb, 900 euro. So I think it’s a scam. I wouldn’t pay any random guy on social media over 10 bucks.
