does the mpc one g2 recognize all of the 16 midi busses on the single usb from hapax?
As someone considering buying Hapax, how well is it working, at this point, with MPC (One+) on later MPC firmwares? I saw that people here was really fed up with MPC → Some progress on MPC Instrument Definition
(Would love to give it all a try and wrote about that here → Zynthian v5.1 (Vangelis) with Hapax? )
there are no real issues in terms of how Hapax works with MPC on a sequencing level. and if someone is patient enough to go through the process of setting up a map of the Hapax encoders to corresponding parameters in the MPC’s drum programs and/or plugins via MIDI learn, it’s eventually doable. just not going to be as simple as downloading a definition file for other devices like an Elektron box and instantly being good to go with a preset MIDI map for the device
