Can i select multiple steps that are not in one row?

can i select multiple steps that are not in a row? Like select every third step? or whatever step i need for a certain task? And then change muTime, velocity or other parameters?
by holding SND it seems not possible.

not that i know of.

I don’t think so. However, you can use the Curves algo to apply velocity changes for every 3rd step for example.

you can manually select individually as many as you can hold with fingers by using 2nd. i don’t know if that helps. it’s covered in the Multiple Events Selection of the manual.

no, as written, the second function does not help here. What it let’s you do is this:
when you make a selection with 2 fingers (for example), then ALL the notes between your fingers, no matter what pitch, are selected. With SECOND, the selected notes are constrained to the actual area marked with your fingers your fingers. (but it does not let you select individual steps)
See photos, the one with the smaller selected area is the one with SECOND

i traded my HAPAX for an analog synth, but am thinking about getting one again, i kinda miss it;)

Is “select any step combination” as described now possible?

when i traded my HAPAX, it only was possible like in the first picture to select steps, but then ALL THE STEPS between those selected steps were selected too.

What i would like to know is, if it is possible to select any combination of individual steps, like for example in the second picture.

thanks again
