Am I correct that the lack of a track layout section when using xp32 tracks means that I can only use Hermod+ tracks to send chords? It wasn’t super clear from the docs, particularly since I can set all the xp32 outputs for a given track to pitch, but couldn’t find any way to adjust the voicings.
Just re-read the XP32 manual and found this section. So it looks like the default layout from the Hermod+ will play through both set of outputs on a per-channel basis; i.e. the XP32 outs for channel 1 will respond to the Hermod+ channel 1 configurations.
What I’m hoping to do, though, is have a 4 voice poly layout where each note of a chord would have their own envelope which could open/close different vcas. I’ve tried setting up different env effects across 4 channels that were part of a such a poly layout, each one set to output to mod 1-4, respectively, but they all just respond to the first note that I play.
Is what I’m trying not possible? Am I just doing it wrong?
