I’m looking at simplifying my Eurorack setup.
Could an xp32 negate the need for an envelope generator such as Intellijel Quadrax?
Can Hermod+ do AD envelopes as well ADSR envelopes, and high quality ones using xp32?

I didn’t have a quadrax, so I can’t compare quality, but the envelopes are nice coming out of the xp32. I have a Doepfer Octal vca hooked up and it works well. You can even control the envelope dynamically via the mod matrix.
The xp32 does not have track layout support though, so you will not be able to set up single polyphonic track configurations.
You can however route midi to those CV outputs. So I have tracks in Bitwig send all manner of signals, including envelopes, out through the xp32 via cc assignments and it’s pretty great.
