X,Y zoom (bla bla bla for 15 characters title)

Ok well I easily found how to zoom on X axis, but is it possible to zoom on Y axis ? Like for example to be more precise on velocity mode ?

hold your note(s) and twist the top left button on the right cluster while in step mode

of course first hit the left/right arrow buttons to highlight the area (measure) containing the note(s) you wish to edit

No I’m sure I explained well what I want:

To create my automation I want pads to show a certain range. Actually to set pitch of my notes I want it to be between 60 and 80 for example. So the lowest line will be 60 and the highest 80.

If I hold a note and change the setting it is just edditing THIS note value. I want to change “screen resolution” to quickly edit all the notes

i dont think so. but which sequencer does it?

you can select all notes and edit using the ‘all’ button.

I’m surprised this seems a logical setting to be able to set the X axis zoom. You rarely want to do your automation on the full range values, and rarely with such low precision.

By the way when zoom is active on Y axis, can you moove step by step and not blocks by blocks ???

the grid is what shows the notes, you move among grid size chunks to show other notes.

i think you can ‘compress’ what you see on screen by simply using the main right encoder, scroll upwards or downwards. it could help to have notes in the 2 octaves you wish to see on the screen. the matrix can only show 8 notes at a time unless there is something im not aware of

are you talking about scrolling a step at a time on the y axis? i dont think you can
