I would love to sequence the slices of a Digitakt sample set to slice mode with my Hapax but I can’t get my head around how to do it, Anyone?
are you slicing to equal length slices?
not sure how Digitakt handles MIDI channel/note values but with MPC it’s pretty easy. Each pad gets a dedicated note value and then chopping sample into 16ths, one note per step on Hapax.

Yes, I’m using sample chains consisting of equal slice lengths (made with https://digichain.brianbar.net/)
All good, sussed it out with some help from Elektronauts:
“if you slice up a sample chain (4/8/16/32/64 samples) they will be available via MIDI notes, starting from C4/C5”
