Whats the fastest way to achieve more natural sounding chords?

I grabbed a YT video to show what I mean. Should be at 5:55 here.

Is there an effect that will humanize the timing of the notes played in the chord live mode and ALSO the velocities? I asked Squarp about this but they take weeks to respond to me. Just looking to see if there is an easier way to do this besides manually adjusting each note.

AFAIK you cannot randomize the note start time.

However, the Randomize effect is able to randomize the velocity and note lengths.

It does make sense if Squarp would also add an option to randomize the note start times.

It would make live playing a bit harder though, as it will introduce a variable latency for each note. Maybe this is the reason Squarp decided to not include note start times in the Randomize effect??

Doesn’t take that long to adjust uTIME on a few notes of a 4 chord loop

Playing them by hand unquantized would also do the job

Thats what I’m doing today, just wondering if there are other ways since sometimes I just play the chords on the Hapax Chord page and not on a synth. The Torso T-1 actually did this automatically, which I thought was pretty cool.

If it was 1 4 bar loop, sure not a big deal, but I do a lot more than that.

Yeah it would be nice to have options like humanizing, strumming, etc built into the chord tool of Hapax. Similar to Ableton’s new Expressive Chords device.

Maybe send Squarp a feature request?
