nobody? really.
There aren’t all that many Pyramid users who are active on the forum these days, I’m afraid. Personally, I don’t have much experience sequencing sequencers with my Pyramid. I’d imagine it would do a decent job, but whether you’d consider it nimble or not, I have no idea.
I don’t know of any videos, I’m afraid.
Someone with some insight might chip in just now, with a bit of luck.
thanks. im talking about controlling the pyramid from hapax
Okay, in that case I’d say it wasn’t all that nimble. Here’s a link to the Pyramid MIDI implementation chart. Check the bit titled ‘PYRAMiDi Messages’ to see what controls you’d have with PYRAMiDi.
i did see that thanks! im just wondering what the actual experience was like… is it actually usable?
My feeling is that it would probably work better with at least some programmed sequencing on the Hapax rather than trying to control all the muting, sequence changing, etc, live. It will depend on how often and how many mites, etc, you want to be performing. Live switching between patterns on the Hapax should work pretty well and I guess still allow for some live muting/I muting, etc, from those programmed ‘starting points’.
But I am guessing really. I haven’t ever used a Hapax. Hopefully someone with more knowledge and experience will chip in before too long.
