What is the easiest way to record an arpeggio?

Hello,

I’ve created an arpeggio I like, but it consists of me holding done several keys in a certain order, I hit record and wait for it to come round and try and get my fingers in order but get it wrong, is there a better way?

On my Digitone in the past I could just hit live record, press the keys in order, then hit stop, quantize it and then set to say 64 bars so its continuous. I was wondering if there is something similar or better?

Thanks

in Step Mode . . . if you have an external keyboard, you can just enter the note(s) you want to play on that, then place the pressed note(s) wherever on the Hapax grid by just touching the column that corresponds to the step in the measure you want the note(s) to be triggered on

e.g., if your arp was a simple I-III-IV C chord, press those notes on the keyboard, then wherever you touch the Hapax grid for a given measure in Step mode, C-E-G will show up at whatever note length you’ve set as your default
