USB Host -> connect multiple devices through usb hub?

Sort of… I’m running a computer (Mac) centric setup at the moment where this is no issue. Most of the sequencing is done with Ableton Live/Push 3. Fits my needs for now.

As a side note; besides not having separate MIDI cables, I also eliminated analogue audio cables for the synths that support USB audio. This also eliminates the hum some USB powered synths produce on their analogue outputs.
And I combine the USB audio outputs with regular analogue outputs from other synths using Apple’s Aggregate Device (Create an Aggregate Device to combine multiple audio devices - Apple Support) to create one hybrid audio interface for my Mac.

I’d just love to bump this thread. Devices like H4MIDI WC would be epic paired with a hapax. Any word on this feature?

I’m rambling to myself now but I could see this as part of the instrument definition. Like USB Host is the midi out channel for the track but the instrument definitions names and points to USB Host Cable 1.

any updates on this feature request?

for isolation i use one of these although there are cheaper audio isolators or direct boxes. its nice to have some of these in the arsenal tho!

theres one on my preenfm2, my es8, my stereo media soundcard (hifimediy Sabre)

ground loop problems squashed!
