Trick for afro beat

As afro beat usually have lots of sounds starting a little before the kick it was a problem when they are for 1st step but appears at the end of last step.
Wich was complicate to make a song it was supposed to do 3 version of each pattern to remove/add some notes

So my trick was to make the base kick at +20u of uTime so notes starting earlier are still on 1st step

Only problem being automations that are not exactly on the beat… wich is not the big drama

So here is 1st “work in progress” in wait of the next update that could give a new algo resolving this problem and also a loop points function for song mode wich would also help to work some transitions

Yes thanks there’s lot of things I should correct but I’m often too lazy and likes to do another one.
That’s the main problem with analog you can’t switch from a project to another when it needs to set so much cables and knobs !!!

I won’t create a new subject as it is a “work in progress” video but I’m really glad how the Hapax (not seen on the video… sorry) helps for composition.

Precise enveloppes that allow to do exactly what I want instead of choosing “by default” something that’s not what I really want or sometime even sounds wrong.

Some more sounds and then let’s go for the song mode :slight_smile:
