Transpose scale vs Transpose track

Hey guys,

So I was playing with transpose in the ‘SCALE’ effect and wondered if I could control this via CV. But of course the way you transpose a track is to use ‘TRACK 16’ with transpose lead activated. So I tried that but it is completely different sounding and nothing like how transpose sounds in the scale mode and sounds more like a chromatic transposition. Is there something I’m doing wrong?

Ok I figured out how to do it (EFFECTS>Y) which is great but I would like if it didn’t trigger every time there is a cv change

If you go into ‘ Track configuration – CV Out’ and turn OFF Gate Retrig then it won’t retrigger each time you adjust Transpose u til there is a new note.

I’m not sure what happens with Midi tracks as this menu option isn’t available. It would seem to make more sense to have that menu option in ‘ Track configuration – Player’.

Also, it’s weird that transposing via the Transpose track didn’t work as would be expected…
