There is not much documented on this function in the manual. Anyone used this and know how to use it? I am hoping it’s a way to transpose a short 1 bar follower sequence to make 4 and 8 bar “chord progressions” by using the midi 8 track as a dummy track not sending it to any voices. Anyone tried this?
Well, it does transpose everything, where the transpose function is activated; so for a chord progression, you could have a 1 bar loop of a specific chord and use a longer sequence on the transpose channel (Tr8) to pitch that one chord up and down. Or you can use a live input, to manually pitch everything too. But you won’t be able to change the chord itself using the transpose channel. A C Minor Triad will stay a minor triad, just with a different root note. But it’s still a very powerful little tool 
Nice yeah was playing around with it a little bit. I would not be using it with a polyphonic chord voice but with a monophonic voice where the chords are broken out as a monophonic bass line.
