Syntax error line 2

Hi. Struggling with instrument definitions. The files appear on my Hapax after I have dragged and dropped them from this forum onto the SD card. When I click on them syntax error line 2 appears for all of my definitions. It’s really frustrating. Do I include all the text in the instrument definition or do I start from a particular line? Thanks.

It’s best to use the included template and only change or add what you need for your instrument definition. Save it under a new name.

Thanks for the quick response. Any idea why I keep getting the syntax error line 2 pop-up? That is the key problem at the moment.

Your first lines should look exactly like this, except Fire DRUM and DRUM, which are added by me:

Thanks. Finally got it sorted. It was the format of the file that was incorrect.
