I’ve just received my Hapax and, as a Pyramid owner, I’m really enjoying it so far. I’m just surprised I can’t find a way to turn the sync off when changing patterns. It seems the minimum sync is 1/16 but there’s no way to change patterns instantly. There’s nothing about this in the manual either. Am I missing something here ?
You can double press a pattern to switch instantly if I’m not mistaken.
I feel like 1/16 sync is pretty instant. But i guess its technically not haha.
If you hold the yellow “pattern” button and select a pattern - it will change instantly.

That’s not true, that’s why I asked. In the meantime, Squarp staff confirmed there’s no instant pattern change, even though the manual mentions it.

You don’t understand, there’s no instant pattern change, Squarp staff confirmed it. When you press the yellow pattern button and select a pattern, the sync 1/16 is still there. You can try with a very low bpm to see for yourself.

Like I said, 1/16 is almost instant, I understand that it’s not, but it works for me.
I also understand why the Hapax does this. It’s so everything stays in sync. If you were to instantly change a pattern it would eventually go out of sync.
What’s your use case?
Why do you need to them to change instantly?
The problem for me is not the speed of the 1/16 sync, which is fine, but rather the fact that the manual refers to a “pattern instant launch” and says that pressing the pattern button enables it, which is not true.
