Subfolders for midi files

Hello,

i’m a new and happy Hapax user ! I created a parent folder on the SD card in which I would like to create additional folders to organize and store MIDI files by category. However, it seems that it is not possible to have folders within folders, because the subfolders are not visible when I try to import MIDI files.

On the other hand, if I place the MIDI files in the root directory of the SD card, I can see them without any problem.

Am I missing something, or is there a limitation regarding nested folders?

I believe you might be right.

I am on the brink of writing to Squarp to consider expanding instrument definition detection from purely a root folder to a dedicated folder as well (i.e. INSTRUMENTS) as well as the subfolders within that folder.

Does the MIDI files detection works in other folder besides MIDI? I.e. PATTERNS? I’ve tested that instrument definitions load only from root.
