I want to sequence both closed and open hihats – for for HATS + ACCENTS – from a single Hermod+ track (basically I want two gate outputs). Is there any layout or trick that lets me do this?
Is there any way to get two independent gates out of one track, or do I just need to use two tracks? I’ll try and see if I can sculpt modulation to work as a gate.
OK I can confirm that works. I have CH2 right-side sending gates to CHH Trig. and the left-side (modulation lane) is sending “gates” to OHH trig. Just had to set mod. value high on STEP-N and low on STEP-N+1.
I wish there was a layout with two gates, but I guess that would be inconsistent with the overall menu design/layout. A
If I could set the OUTPUT on Euclid – left (Mod) or right (Gate) – then I could add 2 X Euclid FX on one channel and send gates to both channel outputs.
