Send start without stop, at the next interval

I play with a partner, which has a somewhat beta MPC as sequencer, he often has crashes, stops due to functions he can only execute, when the device is stopped.

I would like to send a start to his device after the current bar /phrase is completed without stopping the hapax. Does anyone has a idea how to set this up, or how to resync a crashed remote device? (Without buying a midi translator like the Bome Box?)

A clip with a start message would be sufficient.

Go to the Misc settings and set the Sync option to Bar (and save the settings if you like). Then just pressing play during playback will resync everything at the start of the next bar.
