Is the SD-card included at purchase big enough for a lot of projects?
I can’t find any specs about it’s size, and it is hard to tell beforehand wether it will need to be upgraded quickly or not. Also would be nice to know the maximum size SD card supported in the slot of the Hapax itself, and wether it is possible (or necessary) to make backups of the system data on it, in case of crashes or damage?
Projects only contain Midi data measured in KB, which is basically nothing on today’s storage sizes. You can save thousands and thousands of projects on the included card. I haven’t needed my backup so far, but I do backup the card regularly. Because of the little storage required I’ve decided to backup the whole card into a new folder each time and keep old versions around just in case.
The included SD card is 2GB btw. (it says so in the store: Hapax midi sequencer).
