Scaling / filtering velocity?

Is there a way to scale or filter velocity in Hermod+?

My use case is using the new shift register effect. I am using it to create permutations of a very quiet (low velocity) sequence. All the outputs of shift register are very loud. What can I put after shift register to keep everything in a similar range?

The best I’ve found is (weirdly) the random effect, allows me to make everything much quieter (lower velocity). But because my original sequence starts quiet, it gets pushed quieter than the shift register sequence.
