Scaler FX - "algo1"+"algo2"?

In 4.0.x (I think), has the scale FX changed it name to scaler.

Does anyone know what the “algo1” and “algo2” is doing?

They are located at the end of the (4) stick parameter.

from the manual: Pyramid Manual | Squarp instruments

STICK UP DOWN FILTER ALGO1 ALGO2
If a non-scaled note is exactly between two scaled notes, select if the effect have to choose the note below (DOWN) or above (UP). FILTER will not play notes outside the scale. ALGO1 or ALGO2 will randomly select the sticked note up/down.

Not sure what the difference between the 1 and 2, though
