I don’t know if this is the right terminology, but I will describe what I’m trying to achieve:
I want to create a sort of arp pattern that goes, say, [1/2 note, 1/2, 1/4, 1/4, 1/2] but which repeats four notes of a chord. So whilst the the rhythmic placement of the track remains constant, the actual notes slip forwards one place upon each repetition. (Its a sort of techno thing.)
Am I describing this effect clearly enough? Is this possible with the Pyramid? Could you tell me how please?
I suspect might be possible with arp, but maybe you achieve this some other way?
I mean, I could write the whole sequence out in long-form, until the pattern repeats, but it would be very useful to be able to achieve this with a ‘procedural’ method.
