Randomizer cc FX?

Hello, hope that didn’t got asked already… Is there a way to randomize a cc value like the note randomizer FX?

Wanted to try get a bit more lively patterns by slightly randomly variate some parameters…

i assume yes if you have an instrument definition that maps the CC values for a given thing?

The LFO under 2nd + Effects has a random mode. You can route that through the Matrix effect to whatever CC you want to randomize.

These are the global LFO’s though, so if you use this for multiple tracks, the same randomized value will be applied to all tracks you have routed it to.

To make things even more random, you better use the LFO effect for each track you want to randomize. Just set the waveform to random, set the mode to Once (so it will calculate a new random value for each note only once). Then set the destination to the midi cc of your choice. Repeat this for each midi cc you want to randomize.

You can also generate random CC values in an automation using algos. It will be interesting if they will add repeating algos triggered on pattern loop or something.

You’re describing an LFO

Exactly, except you can have 64 of them per track.
