How would people go about this on the Hapax?
lets say I have a sequence that’s five steps long and on certain steps I only want it to trigger a random note from a selected list just for that step.
One way would be to add an ARP in the effects chain, set it to style “RANDOM”, and at a rate equal to that of your steps (I’m guessing 16th notes).
If all other steps are already mono, you ould leave the ARP on all the time, it should not affect them ("pick one at random, within a set of one note will always pick that one note).
If on some other steps, you actually want to have chords, you’d need to automate the ON/OFF of the arpeggiator.
