Hi Everyone! I just purchased a Rample and I’m trying to wrap my head around it. I have a kit with 12 layers (evenly distributed between 1, 2, 3, and 4) but when I try to view each voice in Layer mode, I get the “VOID” notification for channels 2 and 4. I tried putting all 12 under channel 1 and all 12 layers were then recognized. I know this is probably a pretty basic issue but I would love any guidance you might have! Thanks!

My understanding is that VOID means no sample is assigned to that voice. Have you checked that the naming convention on the card is accurate? And are the files mono at 16 bit? This caused a problem for me a while back where I exported files for a kit in stereo by accident and then wondered why they weren’t playing back
Thanks for the reply! I sent a message to Squarp and we figured out that I was using stereo files instead of mono, which voided some of the samples.
