Question2 about updating firmware?

So I downloaded the 3.0 firmware for my first update on my Hermod+.

I backed up the SD card as recommended but expected to find a .bin file on the SD card itself (after instructing my Windows 11 file explorer to show hidden files) Other modules that use SD file usually have a .bin file and I back that up for safety / potential reinstall. Will a new H+ module have a .bin file and if so, where should I be looking?

And where should the new .bin file be placed - onto the root directory or the ‘HERMOD’ subdirectory?

Not sure if the old firmware file gets auto deleted after update. Version 1.3 is still on here if you want to download and save. For update just leave new firmware .bin file in root of card, not in any folders, good to go :slight_smile:
