Question about the new MIDI import and Export feature

Hello,

I’ve not had the Hapax too long, but I love it already! The new 2.0 beta looks amazing too, I’ve just upgraded.

One question I have is about the MIDI import/export feature which I don’t understand (quite new to some some of this). I sequence my Novation Peak and Digitone from the Hapax, does this feature mean I can send someone with a similar setup my MIDI setup config so they get the same config setup or is this something else?

No it just imports/exports the midi note and automation data of a pattern, so you can transfer melodies etc between Hapax and your DAW or other sequencer that has this feature.

Ah ok thanks. Are the any sites that upload these at all for others to try out?

Yes you can download many .mid files online, just use google.
