Question about Pyramid and Midi Fighter Twister

Let’s say I send midi CCs from the Midi Fighter Twister to the Pyramid via a computer, would I be able to directly step lock the CC values when I hold a step on the Pyramid and I tweak a knob on the Midi Fighter Twister ?

Or should I assign the Midi CC coming from the Midi Fighter Twister to a Pyramid knob before ?
