Hello, just curious about the prospect of painting or powder coating a pyramid mk1. Has anyone taken on this project? How do you account for the xy pad? I just picked up a cheap mk1 with a lot of scratches and I want to put a fresh coat on it. Not concerned with losing the silk screen(I’ve used it enough to not need the text), I’d prefer it all black.

Cool idea 
For for the touch pad I would put tape over it before painting it or just paint a small spot to test if it will still work with paint on & if so well paint the rest.
Anyway please share pictures if you do do it.
