Is there any way to unsync the MIDI LFOs so they’re free-running like on Hermod and other sequencers (Octatrack etc.)?

unfortunately no… they are always sync’d.
you could try raising a feature request to Squarp via the contact form

Cheers for the confirmation - will definitely raise a request, seems a strange thing not to have, esp as on Hermod.
Chaining LFOs and automation on the same CC gets some irregular patterns as a rough workaround, eats up fx slots tho : )
