Hi, I’ve just bought a pyramid to control my hardware synths in a dawless setup. I’m having trouble integrating a Behringer td-3 into the setup. Any suggestions on the best way to do this?
do you want to program the patterns in the TD-3 directly and sync it up with Pyramid, or just use Pyramid to trigger the notes directly? i do the latter just because i can’t stand the TB sequence workflow. just set the TD-3 midi channel to whatever Pyramid track you want to dedicate. Overlap note/steps to create slides, change the note velocity for an accent (96/97 is the dividing line). Turn on Legato mode on Pyramid
Cheers mate, will give it a go now.
Yes the sequencer on td3 is the most retarded way of doing things.
Thanks for the reply.
Instant success, cheers.
Don’t know what I was doing wrong but there you go.
Originally midi b to a microkorg then thru to td3 which just didn’t seem to work. Took microkorg out and what you said took less than a minute.
I’m quite new to midi-ing up hardware so really appreciate your help.
