Hi… I don´t know if it’s the same issue… but what I found is that Punch-IN… only works if hapax is not playing.
If I set Punch-in, hapax will start recording when I press first note as expected. The thing is that if hapax is playing, and I set punch-in for add a new recording loop, hapax IS NOT waiting to my first note to start its recording… it just starts a seconds after recording is pressed.
id est… PUNCH IN will have no effect (as you are already playing)
As I shared with Jean from Squarp, I think that punch-in record during playing is a way to have the Record waiting for you to play a note while you are waiting the right passage to get in…
I found it VERY VERY useful for the people like me that wanted to keep building passages looped to step on the fly and have movement in the loops. If I need to press REC and come back fast to keyboard I won´t be on time 90% of the cases.
