Problem recording MPE Midi - from linnstrument

Hi,

Im trying to record Midi data from a linnstrument. Found a way to theoretically record mpe via the multitrack record. All works fine. Problems occur wen I want to record glides. Pyramid steps them up even thou quantisation is turned off.!! Anyone has a workaround !

Did you find a solution? I’m planning on using an Expressive Osmose with my Pyramid. And I haven’t worked out how well the Pyramid will cope with MPE data.

I’m experiencing something similar using poly aftertouch with Hydrasynth…

Re: poly aftertouch - if Im reading the MIDI Implementation Chart correctly, it doesnt look like the Pyramid supports poly aftertouch, just channel. YMMV

I seem to remember Pyramid is only storing pitchbend as 7 bit , so too coarse for slides.

You can try sending a feature request to Squarp.

Though, honestly, I doubt it’ll be changed now … it seems all data is stored as 7 bit, so likely a difficult thing to change now.
But only Squarp devs know… so worth sending an FR
