Wondering how I access polyphonic pressure/aftertouch in the hapax?
I have a launchpad X mk3, trying to use it as a USB host device.
I have selected USB Host as the input device on my midi track, but it doesn’t seem to be receiving or sending forward the pad pressure values.
Set the track to MPE.
(Hold step + Rotate the main encoder)
The Hapax does not support Poly Aftertouch at this time. Support was originally included but the feature didnt work properly so it was removed and a reimplementation is, as far as I know, still pending.
The MPE workaround is only suitable if you are able to use controllers and synths that have an MPE mode instead, since the Hapax does support MPE. The 2.0 firmware had a big MPE bug so it is necessary to update to at least 2.01 to make use of MPE.
