Very likely. By design, the tracks are independent / isolated instances of the same thing. There was likely no expectation of one track having any sort of interaction / communication with another track.
Well there are the midi-fx thingy with sidechain and such. I think its possible to use notes from one traxk to trig a envelope (sidechain) on another. But not sure havent played around with it much as i manley use CV stuff atm
