Playing on a muted track

Hi, I’ve been wondering why midi is being send out, when playing on a muted track? I’d like to play/record midi notes without them being sent until I un-mute the track.
Anyone found a solution to this?

That’s the midi echo setting, it’s independant from the sequencer mute state, it’s logical and on purpose otherwise you wouldn’t be able to play with your synth in local off mode if the sequencer track is muted.
