Pattern change (in song mode) not picking automation settings on Digitone 2

Hello,

I’m learning to use the song mode on the Hapax. In the song I just have 2 patterns to keep it simple that is using the Digitone 2. In first pattern (Section A) I use the automation button and set the frequency filter to start from 0 and by the end of the pattern it’s at 75% open, I then get song mode to go into Section B and onto a new pattern which is the same Digitone 2 melody, but the frequency for some reason starts back at 0 which I don’t want, I want it to be the same as Section A which ended at 75%. I have also set the frequency to 75% in the automation section, be when Section A goes into Section B it seems to ignore this.

What am I doing wrong?

Maybe a Pattern on Section B sends a PC which resets the preset ?

Would you be so kind as to share your project files and your setting file in an ticket to support here ?

This would greatly help me troubleshoot this

Do you happen to have the default value of the Cutoff frequency set at 0? (can also be set in the instrument definition file)

Hi Maarten, thanks for you reply. I did wonder this, would you mind telling me where this is? I think I must be looking at the wrong place which is highly likely.

Thanks for looking at this. I’ll have a look again tonight. I can certainly send in my project file too if I get nowhere.

Maybe it is setting Section be to zero as that is the default on the Digitone 2 for that sound. How can I get the PC to start at a particular level then and not at zero?

In the Automation lane, can be set with encoder 8.
