Pad not lighting up

I’ve got 2 pads in the bottom row that won’t light up on a brand new Hapax (just arrived today). I’ve tried restarting, reinstalling firmware, changing modes. The buttons respond to touch (i can add note data) but stay unlit. Any ideas what might be going on?

I searched around and haven’t seen anyone else with the issue

Seems like a hardware issue. Better contact support
