Octave notes in Step Mode

Hi,

In Step Mode, whatever the scale chosen in pScale Project, I can’t enter two octave notes (aka C3 and C4) without using arrow keys to scroll up or down because of the white raws(s) on the pads.

I don’t understand the reason of this choice by Squarp. It’ s very embarrassing to not have directly access to octave notes on the pads without other keys manipulations. Octave notes are frequents in my patterns, and maybe in yours too.

Is there a way to have this option ?

Nice day to everybody.

Because between an Octave there are 12 semitones and there are 8 rows vertically so we have 7 semitones of distance . Try it without pScale enabled and then You can figure it out what am i saying.

Do You know the basics about musical scales? And tranposes?

Yes I’m fine with the scales.

If pScale project is off, we are in chromatic mode with 12 notes for 8 rows.

But when pScale is “on” , major scale for instance, we have 7 notes and the octave could be enabled instead of this white row.

For a pentatonic scale, the 3 white rows could play the notes of the upper octave range.
