Hi a bit late to this game here.
Curious if the Pyramid has a Random function. apart from the Random midi Fx.
Example: if you have a 2 bar track 1 press randomize notes-pitch, note length…
instead of the continuous random fx that goes on random for ever.
Sounds like the algo mode of Hapax. I don’t believe Pyramid has that but it’s been awhile since I had one.
Most sequencers have some kind of random mode…
As the random function in the new akai samplers…
or some max for live devices, or the random function in the oxi one or Pioneer squid?
Should have added that one function before discontinuing it.

since Pyramid has 64 tracks . . . make one Track normal, duplicate to a second Track that has the Randomizer FX applied. switch between them on the fly to “apply” Randomization as needed?
The Pyramid Randomizer can change velocity, pitch or note length. You can activate or deactivate this at any point in your track. I doubt this answers your question, but that’s how I use Randomizer.

Just press random and getting a pattern with random notes velocities lengths,
