Noob question, record register effect

Hello, I’m new to Hapax, luv everything about it.
I’ve been messing around with ”register” effect, and I luv it. I’m using the cv in from my eurorack joystick to control ”toggle” to generate new patterns and evolve the notes, and have a scaler effect after it.
Is there any way that I can record the pattern, that would be really cool I I found a good groove. It would be nice if for example ”output”effect could be routed to another track, and recorded there, hmm.

I also noticed that I can’t transpose it with track 16, guess it’s because it’s an effect, I tried to control transpose in the ”scaler” with key tracking, but it semi worked, will continue experimenting.

Cheers Bobb

Can I rout a tracks output to another tracks input? Hmm

The only way (currently) is by connecting a midi cable from one of the outputs to one of the inputs and then record the input to another track.

Hopefully, internal routing (without physical cables) will be a possibility in a future firmware update

Yeah, really hope so. Would be cool if the output effect could be routed to another track input, or that you could 2nd press and press ”register” or ”euclid” to capture the steps. I think I will request it.

Hmm, where do I send feature requests?

Just realised that it would be amazing if they implemented that the output effect could rout to another channels input, then i could have the target track play the sequence live from the source track, and just press rec when I find something good.

But you can do that with MIDI right, just need to loop the MIDI back into the Hapax.Does your device has a MIDI THRU?

Yes, yore right, I can, we discussed it higher up in the thread. Just would be nice to be able to do it internally instead, the output effect is already there.

Cheers

Even just being able to keep the sequence locked in once the Hapax stops & restarts would be good enough for me. Its strange that it resets back to zero/default on stop.
