Navigation in Menus

Maybe I’m dumb, but I’m confused when navigating in menus.

At first, let’s say I enter the “Assign” Menu by holding 2ND + FILL, then click on a knob to enter the edit menu.
Here’s a few examples/questions :

  • How do I exit the edit menu ? I would redo 2ND + FILL but it brings me to the main mode (live, step, pattern or autom), so I need to press the 2ND+FILL combo again.

  • I hit “CC” in the first column. I enter the second column. How to go back to first column ?? (except for scrolling the whole CC list) I would expect hitting the LEFT arrow would get me back.

Yes I was thinking the same thing yesterday: as far as I know the only way to go back is to scroll all the way down to select the < option and press the encoder.

It would be great to have a dedicated shortcut button for going back indeed.

So, glad to know it’s not me.

One year later, I ran into the same issue.

Did someone report it as a usability issue?

There is no back button, so that arrow should be the first item in the list or there should be a key combination available.

Press and hold encoder jumps to the bottom of the list, which is a ‘<‘ button.
