no but you can work around that limit by using multiple fx in a clever way. you can automate an fx on or off and use more than one automation lane, one with interpolation and one without. i hope you see what im describing! its not the easiest way but its possible.
Yes I see but I will do another suggestion about that…
i see the fx and modulation like sculpting the landscape of the sequence. i love to record midi to my mpc with all modulations and then treat that as a phrase that i can start any time from the mpc now. or i can edit in the mpc and export as midi file back to the hapax! ive never done that but i presume its possible. this would take the place of a ‘render to sequence’ function on the hapax. or you could make all your parts the way you want them, record to mpc as midi, then just perform from mpc,
sorry i know you dont want an mpc.
No I consider maybe a MPC one to make some vinyl and cassette samples from my bed ![]()
Also I use Analog Rytm mostly as sample player with analog filters but it is limited as sampler player and the analog sound are… bullshit. As the noise oscillators are digital and they are vital for a drum machine. So maybe better a real sampler with analog filters ! And alos… because Hapax is givin a new life to my Jomox Airbase !!! (as well as treatin it with different filters controlled by the Hapax !)
But I’m not much about sampling sequences to play it back, I love when so much analog synths and FX are really like a life. Unfortunatly now having to record in digital destroying everything
But I have to see a bit more if Hapax can do some remix function, like a beat repeat with many tracks selected. As it is kind of long if you have to do it manually (I’m unfortunatly missing energy a lot in this period of the year, even while I installed wind energy but no wind right now so I should also quite computer for a book !!)
