Hi, some strange behavior here. I’m running my Hapax to Ableton as a USB Device. I use an external instrument plugin for the Minilogue, set the Hapax to USB Device and the correct channel (7) and everything works fine. However, when I switch to another track, the Minilogue XD goes silent until I change the preset. For example, I have a Minilogue XD patch going via the Hapax, all is well. Then I add an Arturia Piano V plugin into a new midi track. As soon as I select that MIDI track, the sound stops on the Minilogue XD. I can see it is getting MIDI notes but no sound is coming out. However, once I change the preset, it starts working again. But every time I navigate over to the Piano V track, the same thing happens again. Any ideas on what I could be doing wrong?
Nevermind, user error. I think I had a midi loop of some kind.
Can you please elaborate on this “midi loop fix”? I’m facing the same issue with my Minilogue XD and it’s driving me nuts that the PC is automating the patches successfully but as soon as I click anything else in Ableton, the sound stops on the Minilogue XD… How exactly did you fix this issue?
