Math / conditional trig question, am I missing something?

Hi,

Is it not possible to make a trig condition 2:8, 3:8 etc? After 1:4 to 4:4 only options on the MATH condition are 1:8, 1:9, 1:10 and so on. Or am I missing something?

Edit: Obvious workaround is to multiply pattern length and use 1:4 to 4:4, but still why not just make all the options available on MATH?

Yeah it would be nice if the nominator/denominator would be completely free to select

Bump

Strange not more people are asking for this.. I use this feature all the time, but I really don’t understand why some options are there and others are not.

Now you have:

1:2
2:2
1:3
2:3
3:3
1:4
2:4
3:4
4:4
1:5 (and here the pattern changes)
1:6
1:7
1:8
1:9
1:10
1:11
1:12
1:13
1:14
1:15
1:16

For 1:x, every option up until 1:16 is added. But you can’t have 16:16 (something that makes lots of sense imo - to add a variation at the end)

Would so love to see this being expanded into some n:m feature where you can freely choose the value of n and m (up to reasonable limits/what fits on the display  ). For example if I want to play something every 12th out of 48 times, why not

EDIT:

even cooler would be to add and combine your own math expressions. for example 1:16 but not 1st playback and not when holding the fill .. but I guess that’s taking it too far
