Can I trigger the samples with different velocities?
In a specific Rample mode with a specified requirement set and a caveat or two. I can’t explain further, the docs are accurate and I’m selfishly preoccupied with other concerns. Good Luck.

Rample SETTINGS
VELOCITY : Assign the midi in note velocity to LEVEL, PITCH, BIT or FILTER.
And level = velocity 
Thanks, but I’m not using midi: I use a gate signal, that I want to be velocity sensitive: it’s a drum trigger
